Growing collaboration and resources
Due to the TBHLT's advocacy and efforts, several action committees were formed, including Access to Care where local mental health providers could benefit from meeting regularly to network, learn about each other's specialties, and receive CEUs.
Committee members Tiffany Dancer, LPC-S, Dr. Stephanie Waitt, LPC, and Bill Mory, LPC, LMFT met to create a group that could help grow collaboration and partnerships among the providers of Texoma.
Texoma Mental Health Professionals Network
During their first meeting, 27 mental health professionals gathered to create the Texoma Mental Health Professionals Network and have partnered with TMC's Behavioral Health Center and created a Facebook group to provide resources, support, and information to local mental health professionals.
